Description

Based in the design of the traditional clinker built “dornas” which were used for the “xeito” type fisheries, the Irmandiña has been designed for transatlantic crossing with six men on board. With excellent sailing qualities, which are common in this type of popular boats from Galicia and related with the Viking crafts of the XI century, has been built by the expert hand of Pepe Garrido who is the last of more than five generations of ship carpenters.
